Mariana (Year 13)
Mariana is from Ngati Mahuta. Her educational goals and career aspirations: ‘she wants to achieve level 3’ and ‘to perform on stage as a musician and/or help those who are in need of help whether that’s with their mental and physical health’.
Jimi (
Year 11)
Jimi is from Ngāti Hāua. His educational goals and career aspirations: ‘ I would like to become a teacher’. ‘He would like to finish school and get a degree for teaching’.
Toakase Ma’u (Year 12)
Toakase is from Tongan community. Her educational goals and career aspiration: She wants to excel in all her subjects. ‘Getting an excellence or merit endorsement would be amazing and hopefully, I would be able to attain a scholarship for Polynesian students’. She aspires ‘to work in a tech job. Specifically cyber security. I’ve always been interested in this field and working in it would be a dream. I’ve already researched about the job and have taken steps to ensure a career in this field’.
Blēz (Year 12)
Blēz is from Ngāti Hāua,Waikato Tainui. His educational goals and career aspirations: ‘to stay out of trouble and choose the right people to hang out with’. His career aspirations ‘are to show good leadership toward others so that they can become more respectful and succeed in life’.
