Solar energy Henderson

PTC held a week-long workshop at Henderson Intermediate, during which we oriented and raised awareness of the effects of solar energy on NZ’s environment. Hurunui College is one such school that converted from coal boilers to solar power, installing a range of Panasonic Solar Panels, according to Harrison Solar Company. Solar is wonderful for schools, as much of their energy use occurs during daylight hours. Students were thrilled to participate and learnt a lot about solar panels during the time spent together, as we continue to empower more students to focus on renewable energy!
