Communicating science - Animation

Our youth continue to thrive within the animation workshops. Indigenous Sparks is passionate about using animation tools and other e-learning resources to inspire creativity and divergent thinking in rangatahi so that they can express their learning and intelligence through different media.

The visual impact fostered through animating characters or their own objects enables our students to become more engaged in their learning experience and to really make the science into that which is relevant to them.

Students are currently displaying their animations on the large monitor at Palmerston North city library this week. Many created their river awareness in Te reo and English.
